The purpose of this blog is to journal my life as a vegan. I started this journey in July of 2010 after reading books like the China Study and watching documentaries like Earthlings. I am now living a high carb low fat whole plant based/vegan lifestyle and am very active in running/cycling/swimming and yoga. I want to spread the word about how to live a healthy life of abundance and consciousness regarding the health of our planet and all the beings that inhabit it.

15K
I did it! I ran a 15K on Sunday. It was chilly! I wore gloves and head band that covered my ears. I finished in 1:47. Not bad considering I have not run longer than 6 miles since before Halloween! So I am thinking of doing a duathlon in February.... I need to train to see if I can possibly run after riding a bike. My legs may be too wobbly. I am so happy I had absolutely no foot pain. My mommy showed up to greet me at finish line. I lover her! Thanks Mom!
